Using Webinars for Influencer Marketing

I learned a lot from this conversation. First thing to do is ask yourself why you are doing it. Just because you can? Because it is your job? Anton got some great advice for a webinar strategy from Joe Pulizzi right at the start. 1) make valuable content to get an audience 2) gain their trust 3) build loyalty through value. Webinars are very, very early in any acquisition path. At the end of the day, webinars are not a vehicle for selling. Trying to use them that simply will not work. Conversation has a value (luckily for this podcast), 70% of a good answer is in a good question, webinars are great for build community, titles need to be great... we don't have a definitive answer to whether transcripts are worth the investment. But I convince myself that they are since they *should* help machine understanding (semantic triples, co-occurrence, relatedness, context clouds anyone?). We end with J F Kennedy (really?) and that webinars are underestimated as a tool for influencer marketing.
