Ruth Wilson is known for her appearances in various television series and films, including "Jane Eyre"," "Luther"," "The Affair"," "Saving Mr. Banks" and "His Dark Materials" Wilson has won two Laurence Olivier Awards for her performances on London's West End stage. She co-founded Hush Production with a few friends and acted in plays created by the production company. She played her own grandmother in the BBC mini-series "Mrs. Wilson" She graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in History and studied acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), from which she graduated in 2005. In the 2021 Queen's Birthday Honors List, Ruth was awarded the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) for her services to theater.
