Meg Whitman is an American business executive, diplomat, and politician. She is best known for her role as CEO of eBay from 1998 to 2008. She is is among the richest self-made women in the US.
After leaving eBay, she became president and CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise from 2011 to 2015. She then served as the CEO of Quibi from its launch in 2018 until its closure in 2020. Meg Whitman has also held senior leadership positions at The Walt Disney Company, DreamWorks, Procter & Gamble, and Hasbro. In 2022, she was appointed as the United States ambassador to Kenya
