Nitin Rakesh is an Indian-American businessman, author, and philanthropist who currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Mphasis, an IT services company.

Prior to joining Mphasis, his roles included CEO and President of Syntel, CEO and Managing Director of Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company Ltd. and Chief Executive of State Street Syntel Services. Rakesh has a background in computer science and management studies. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Delhi Institute of Technology and a Master's degree from SVKM's NMIMS.
