Christiana Figueres is a prominent Costa Rican diplomat known for her leadership in climate change negotiations.

Christiana Figueres was Executive Secretary of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change from 2010 to 2016 and played a key role in the realization of the historic Paris Agreement on climate change. She is also co-founder of Global Optimism, co-host of the climate podcast "Outrage + Optimism" and co-author of "The Future We Choose: The Stubborn Optimist's Guide to the Climate Crisis". She has received numerous awards and honors for her work, including being named one of Fortune magazine's 50 Greatest Leaders in the World and being included in Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential leaders in the world.
